Why is Advanced Search not working and has not worked for some time?

I do not know, I have not had any issues with it not working recently/at the moment

 

Other members here might be having a problem and have a suggestion, but if you want to ask eBay, you will need to contact them as eBay staff neither read not run this forum (yes, I am aware they have a blurb about tech staff regularly checking the board for issues, but that is bullocks)

It has been logged with Ebay. I have called and discussed this issue with them for more than 2 years. The reply is that we will log this with our technical team.

Belkeve it or not they have fixed one aspect of the search. You can now find items by seller's ID. If you click on the box indicating By Seller and then scroll don the page to by seller's ID.
This shows the quality of Ebay programming as you can also do this from the "Find Items" screen.
You still cannot do anything with the "By Bidder" search - this has been inoperative for approximately 5 years. A clever programmer would have only a find items box and in brackets also by seller and Item number) as all three searches are accessable from the find items screen.
