I bought a gift card earlier today, but when I try to use it, it says the balance is empty, even though I have literally not used it at all.

Did it need to be registered / activated?
Was this a gift card you bought from a seller on eBay, or an actual eBay gift card?

It's a legit gift card.
But it works now, I just had to wait for it to be activated.
