All data correct - I've been a user for over 15 years - hundreds of purchases - I have reset my password, which involved a code sent to my email and then to my mobile number - all that worked fine.
I can't chat to live eBay because I can't sign in - I'm in an infinite loop
Surely, there must be way way to chat with somebody live?

I just came here looking for the same answer. I was able to figure out that I had to reactivate the 2 step verification to get the push notification on my device. Once that’s done it works. I was logged in on my iPad so used it to turn it back on to be able to log in on my iPhone. Hope this helps
