New feedback

I am still leaving "X" as the feedback comment on the new feedback page because eBay has not bothered to fix the page and save previous comments. Bad enough that I lost all of my previous comments. I am not about to laboriously create a new comment for every item I purchase. So "X" it is until further notice. Pity. Pretty unprofessional.

It depends which server you're using

I think twyn means browser.

Just type in a new comment or copy n paste from your feedback page, it should then save to the new format.

eBay cannot reinstate something that your computer remembers.

It appears to not be a browser accessable field.

Firefox is certainly not remembering my comments

I feel for you. Having the same problem. NOT impressed

I'll just throw in 2 cents here

Many people see X as meaning a mistake/something bad

I mention this because it's against ebay policy to leave a 'neg comment' with a green dot

In case the bots pick it up, or a person getting the X comment makes ebay aware of it, thinking you're not happy

Maybe another single letter/number would be better?

What I do for buying is Great item, quick, postage, recommend,AAA++++++++++++++++++++

For selling Great buyer,quick payment,recommend,AAA++++++++++++++++

Or something similar depending on how the transaction went.

So maybe just shorten it to AAA+++++++++++++++++ or AA++++ depending on how you perceive the

transaction went.

My Firefox computer dosen't remember my comments or allow me to copy or paste ;-[ ... yet, maybe it will get an update?

My Edge computer allows me to copy and paste but dosen't remember... yet.

I agree 100%. It's really annoying when you have lots of feedback to leave. I had about 4-5 responses I used. If you're going to give 6x the same feedback then copy and paste is okay but if there are slight variations the new version is pathetic.

Do people who make these changes actually use the system?

I may start writing somehting like, "excellent seller - would leave more details but new feeback system sucks"

Firefox is keeping my older comments, but not the more recent ones, yet.

I don't leave enough through Chrome to make a judgement, yet.
