I couldn't tell you the last time I left feedback for a buyer. It's totally pointless. Writing something like "great buyer, prompt payment, valued customer" means zero. No one cares about what feedback is left for a buyer, because it can only ever be positive.

I see your point, but it's not always the case as some may bid but take ages to actually pay - I imagine that can be quite infuriating for a seller. At least sellers can see that I am a trustworthy buyer who won't make them wait. Still, my original post was more about the weirdness of having a bunch of sellers not leave feedback, so I was more curious to see if it was a glitch rather than a coincidence (and it does appear to be the latter!)

Anyway, thanks for responding. 🙂

For those buyers who take a long time to pay, they can still only receive positive feedback. If a seller writes something along the lines of "bad buyer, took ages to pay, I don't recommend", the buyer can have the feedback removed, keeping the green dot and the seller gets a black mark on their account. The most any seller would be interested in, if they are even bothered to look at your feedback, is your feedback left for others. That's where people's true colours come out.

As said, the seller cannot say you took ages to pay

That comes under 'false positive'

An if the buyer reports it, eBay will remove the comment and slap the seller

Feedback can for buyers can only be a green tick, with 'good words'

Sellers know that buyers can only ever have good things said about them, or nothing at all

No matter how long they took to pay/did'nt pay at all/opened false claims or anything else you can think of
