Incorrect seller address - how to correct?

I am currently selling an item on eBay.  The item location is

incorrectly shown as the Ashmore and Cartier Islands which

are an offshore Australian island group in the Indian Ocean.

They are unpopulated and obviously giving potential buyers

the wrong impression of where I'm actually located, and also

may give the impression of the sale being a scam.

I have attempted to resolve this issue with the eBay chat site,

but with no success after a 45-minute session!

Any ideas as to how to change my seller address greatly appreciated.

Regards to all, Geoff.

Have you tried going into account settings - top left hand corner - click on your ID - edit your address. ??

Thanks for that.  Will check it out.

Not on this site - the community - but your eBay site - where you sell.

Checked my address as you suggested, and it's showing correctly.

Did you copy the listing from a 'sell similar' where the item location on that stated Ashmore and Cartier Islands ?

Very weird indeed - A&C does not even have a postcode. ??

The only thing I can think of is edit your address - totally - and reenter it.

OK reading Sandy's reply - go into the listing itself - check the details you have given.

I thought potentially  (if it is a sell similar listing) the seller in the other listing  might have done a 'special listing' for someone (or other etc)

OR if the OP's computer 'thinks' that is where it is

(I know often after I have to do updates on this one, it then randomly 'thinks' it is in the US)

Item location has nothing to do with your actual registered address.  You could be (for example) listing an item for a friend or relation living in another state, and you would show the item location as where they are, not where you are.

When you edit your listing, there should be a section down the bottom somewhere (ours is showing below the Postage section), where you can edit the item location.

When you click on the pencil icon to edit it, just change the "Suburb/Town/State/Territory" field and the postcode if necessary.
