I object to her apparent cruelty because of the way she has described what happened - she kicked the cat and it hit a wall and I think she kicked it more than once. It should not have entered her home and she wanted to evict it as soon as possible but causing it pain was not the best way to solve the problem. I understand the situation and I know how painful scratches are. When I was carrying my young cat early this year he became scared and clawed me so I let him go. I've always found the best thing to do is to leave a cat alone when it's aggressive or scared.

I've taken you off ignore to see if you came up with a solution. I see you haven't.

I don't care about a couple of scratches. My only concern was my pet.

Let me put you in my shoes - an obviously vicious dog corners one of your clearly beloved cats. And after attempting the obvious to get rid of the dog,  the cat is still in danger. IN fact your cat is about to move in an attempt to escape but it would have moved right into the path of the dog who is waiting with baited breath.

In that split second, what would you do?  ?:|
