Whose chooks are you feeding Karen?  The neighbours?  

I'm backs from the vets and they said to give them a call at 3 to see if he can come home.  They didn't see whether they meant 3pm today or 3pm next Sunday 

I should make the most of a quiet day and do some vacuuming without the dog going mental and trying to attack the vacuum head.  Ah bliss.
