This one is a guy to have around because he's one of the few snakes that feasts on baby cane toads!![]()
It's a Keelback freshwater snake.

My daughter living in Mackay occasionally gets snakes in the laundry or in the house, it freaks her out. Their cat alerts her to the presence of snakes, he's a very valued tom.
A keelback freshwater snake? What handy fellow to have around if you've got lots of cane toads!
