I wish you guys lived near me!

I have about 12very large chicken pens and heaps of laying boxes to get rid of.

The man who owned this house breed fancy chooks, some worth about $300:O
He puts them in shows etc.

Im gonna get chooks one day, I dont care if they dont lay, I just love them, with their cute personalities.

Used to have chooks when I was married, one day I went outside and found one dead, the exhusband had broken its neck in a fit of rage because it had pecked at him

and I can see why he is an ex.

We might keep a couple of the pens, in case we decide to get some chookens in the future. Not worth having them atm. with OH away so much, I don't go through many eggs, and when I do buy them, they are from people who have their own chookens.

any news on the egg yet??

My rooster thinks he's a dog. When the neighbourhood dogs start barking he crows along with them!!

NAW our first egg from "Erica"

I am the little white rooster, too lazy to crow for day

Couldn't get the grey leopard one we saw as it would have been too big for our chickens.

And yes he gave us the rooster
