your rooster will crow at about 20 weeks I think ... about the same time he starts jumping on the girls.

I put mine in the nesting area in a wooden box at night as he really crows very loudly from about midnight until 5am every morning. He still crows but it's harder to hear and it starts around 5am so I let him out then. I've been able to sleep the last couple of weeks.
