Wind Farms

Would you mind living under one? If yes why?

Do you know anyone that does live close to one? Any stories?

Many are approved for around this area. I've heard them click click clicking around Cape Nelson not sure I'd like to live under that

I've been in houses that have wind turbines, they're only audible in fairly strong winds. I wouldn't like to live close to a major wind farm. The repetitive noise would send you bonkas. The power would be great...and clean...
.

I don't know much about them except that we've driven past them a few times (great ocean Rd. I think) . I know they're good clean energy but they look a bit scary, as if the fan part is going to fall off. I think it's one of those situations that people want them around, but not in their own back yards. Wasn't there somewhere in Vic someone stopped them being installed due to an endangered bird species?

Cape Nelson would be a major wind farm in Daylesford there's two, lol two

There are some on the way to Stawell too Clair. I find them a bit stressful to look at .

Was it wedge tailed eagles Debra?

I've never heard a windfarm in action.

Windbag yes. Plenty around here but not this thread - yet 😉

Clair, I think it was some little honey eater type bird

Smiley LOL

Don't know what the noise level is like, but I hear they pay pretty good for it to be on your property.
