If you have rain today Hawk, then it will probably move this way. I call SA my early warning system. Actually we did have thunder and heavy rain last night. It always seems wrong somehow to have winter thunderstorms, I always think of hot humid nights when I think thunder and lightning.

 

Shopping day for me today, but I have to finish procrastinating first. lol.

I woke up a couple of times because of the noise, and was awake again at 3am when it got really woolly and wild, with heavy rain driving against my bedroom window!

Good Afternoon

 

We continue to have fine, calm, sunny weather here. Although the wind is starting to rev up a bit today. It does get fairly windy here in the spring months.

 

Procrastinating about taking some stuff I sorted out to the OP shop, be best if I do it this afternoon.

The local ones, 1 closed due to asbestos being removed in the church and outbuildings, the other closed because rain flooded it recently and the other one I am not fussed on, so will have to travel a bit further to one.

We're still missing our usual August weather here, was 25 today and I even broke out in a sweat walking fast! Mind you, the mornings have been in single digits the last two mornings Brrr!

 

Went to art today, all my students are doing brilliantly, different styles and becoming more confident with their art.  I really enjoy watching how fast they progress.  We have two big art festivals in the next few months, so I hope they all submit some of their work.  I'm still getting a lot of nerve pain and can only do 15 mins of drawing/painting before it hurts......fed up with it to be honest.  I guess it's only 3 weeks until I see the doc and then organise the laser stuff, whatever that entails.

 

Sorry for whinging but OH isn't here for me to moan to LOL....hmm wonders if that was the plan?

 

Hope the sun shines for you tomorrow if it didn't today or it's at least nice enough to get outside and play in the garden or something.

whinge all you need to.  pain is so draining, especially when it prevents you doing what you enjoy.
