I had warning of sorts for my 1 day ban. Plus you can't 'read only' either while banned 🙂 .....unless using your smart phone but shhhhh don't tell them that.

I don't have a smart phone....if we can't see the boards ...that would mean that we are banned from both reading and posting ? 

If we can't read ....we can't report any issues that may arise concerning us if they did...because we wouldn't know ....

I don't sell or buy now ..I am curious though ..does it include the selling/buying boards too ? the business side of things

You can't sign into any boards or read your mesages. So you don't even know what you are on holiday for.

And the stupidest thng is that it asks you click a link if you want to dispute your holiday but the link takes you back to the sign in page. Where you can't sign in. Duh! So there is no way of getting any clarification.

Wow ...I've never known when they may be coming though always knew the length of time it was to be for ...though that did go over time at times and I tried to get help from ebay when that happened.I was advised to email as I had already done and told this...

This from Ebay customer support 

You should've received an email explaining the reason for the specific violation and the duration

obviously this has changed ......

or rather ...you can't or couldn't access this info as you couldn't sign in .Perhaps that may be fixed ?

It's just so devastating. I go into CS withdrawals and spend the day shaking and shivering. But luckily the holidays are short. So just before it gets to that point where I can't take it anymore and start looking around for some other 'fix' with the desperaton of a crack addict who's accidently locked themselves in a bathroom, bingo!, they let me in again!

And all is good with the world again...
