As from today I will no longer be posting on here. I can't articulate the reason so I will leave it up to the one's who worked so studiously to achieve this result.
Cheers to the handful of posters who made this an enjoyable pastime, a good place to have an opinion & a place to come to read the politic of the day.

I don't know who these members you speak of are and or what you are thinking that they have done to you and/or wanting other members to think these members you are referring to have done to you .I think some members may have seen this as a baiting thread to catch posters of the opposite political views to the opening poster and/or to accuse them of something ?

You're surely not going to give up though, are you. There's a record here just waiting to be broken.
Queen of Farewells
Melba bade farewell to her native Australia in 1924, releasing a letter that said: "I have tried to keep faith with my art … to make the big world outside, through me, understand something of the spirit of my beloved country." She then made farewell tours and concerts worldwide, so many so, in fact, that a sarcastic expression arose: "More farewells than Nellie Melba." She sang at the opening of the nation's Parliament House in Canberra in 1927, and her final concert in Australia was in 1928.

It reminds me of people that are here quite a lot but they always start their posts with "I hardly post here anymore but..."

That is actually no longer the case.
Nope. My holiday came with no warning.
