You could but I don't think it was a lie, more not checking and making sure it was the Gospel Truth.

If it was Rudd who made the mistake, it would be called a lie.  And they still call the "no CO2 tax" staement by JG a lie, even when given the whole quote, over and over.  Sadly it works in convincing the braindead to vote LNP even if it means most will be considerably worse off as a result.

A lie?  I'm not really sure.  Wasn't he referring to this? http://www.medicareaustralia.gov.au/provider/pubs/forms/acir.jsp

Did he misrepresent those stats?

its an exaggeration of the facts . which if said to deliberately to deceive is by definition a Lie.

I don't know, maybe Monman could check, he probably has more time for detail than I do.

 

There are FactChecks criticizing things that Labor has said, should I start a thread about it just to show my balanced viewpoint? Smiley Wink
