I still don't understand why it needs to be done. If they have enough room and are happy, surely it would be rare for them to attack each other all the time.

Poor chookens ! one good thing about the media, at least more people are now aware of a chookens life and more people are buying their own chooks for the backyard.

Poor chicks... sorry, I sr'd it.
I have no idea why but I guess lots of farming practises are bad.... there can always be an excuse found if they try hard enough 😞
