Of-course, politicians are civil to each other outside of parliament, some are even friends with members of the opposite party, it cuts both ways.

Abbott really struggled with conversation through the program and could not produce salad without his daughters' help. Not that cooking is a prerequisite for being a good PM, but neither is jumping through tyres or cycling fast. However, being a good engaging speaker able to converse with other heads of state would help.
