And great job putting it together yourself! I got told to hang the feeder off the ground so the mice can't get to it. We are laying more wire today in the hope that I can keep them out during the day.
Ibis the mammoth muscovy drake would have killed the hens. The crazy chicken/duck man has taken him. He looks after ducks with twisted beaks and ducks that have pulled all their feathers out (which mine would have done without a female). He takes them to schools to show the kids, has other ducks of the same breed. Believe me I saw a randy muscovy drake at his place, they are huge and I saw what they are capable of, this thing was trying to jump every feathered thing, even other males.
