Nothing wrong with Alzheimer's.

You get to met new people every day.

You get to eat food you never ever knew you liked.

And at Easter time ...........................................

You get to hide your own Easter eggs

Ah, thanks banorasew. Now I know what you mean.
My grandad, who knew everything, and lived to 95, always said you're not old until your youngest child is on the pension LOL. He was never old 🙂

Sorry banorasew but I've never seen one of those 'silent cops' in my life.

And I'm officially old - they keep telling me. Are they an interstate thingy?

Cos I'm in Melbourne

Hi stawka, I'm not sure about any other states, NSW definately had them. When you were making a RH turn for instance, you had to make sure you went around it properly and not hit it.

Love this thread, I'm thinking of stuff all day!

I remember the mail delivered by Sam Baxter, the postman on his horse in my home small town of Coraki.

Bread was delivered in an open cart, unwrapped! in all weather. No OH&S then.

Not a Melbourne thingy then, that 'cop'

And how long would the money last that you used to put inside the empty

milk bottles and leave out for the milko overnight. Just so the crows could

peck at the aluminium bottle top and drink the cream!

When we were MADE to drink the WARM tetrahedron packs of milk at school...yuck!

i remember the milk man delivering the milk in bottles and my sister and i would fight over who would get the cream on the top
