he has a couple of toys, the first one was a big soft one he turned into
a mess of fluff n cloth Guess he's not into cuddle toys like Leroy was.

Just to add - I hope he has plenty of chew toys to distract from chewing
on the furniture. As well as chew toys, maybe some pigs ears and perhaps
a Kong with treats inside to keep him busy.
Animal Control must have told him that his dogs rushing at people may
qualify them as dangerous - as such they may be taken from him and
possibly put down. Just my opinion As for your chair, if it's leather
he'll just 'eat' it again if you repair it....
