SF I suggest you consider the scientific terms: "trend", "noise", because where climate/temperature are concerned they are very important. A quick read of the 2007 report would help because this comment : " the world has in fact been warming at half the rate claimed in the previous IPCC report in 2007." is wrong, because the report actually says:
"For the next two decades, a warming of about 0.2°C per decade is projected for a range of SRES emission"
According to The Daily Mail, the draft report recognised the global warming "pause", with average temperatures not showing any statistically significant increase since 1997.
The 2007 assessment report said the planet was warming at a rate of 0.2C every decade, but according to Britain's The Daily Mail the draft update report says the true figure since 1951 has been 0.12C.
According to an ongoing temperature analysis conducted by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) , the average global temperature on Earth has increased by about 0.8°Celsius (1.4°Fahrenheit) since 1880. Two-thirds of the warming has occurred since 1975, at a rate of roughly 0.15-0.20°C per decade.
Now consider the figures above SF and then calculate the annual temperature variations (increases).

Dont' forget "trend", 10 years is a good start, and the Daily Mail is not known for scientific research.

It's been known for a long time that the IPCC have based their predictions on seriouly flawed computer modeling....
At least the IPCC can admit they were wrong!......
