I am currently doing a freehand drawing of this big church, A3 size. Once finished, I will use the watercolour pencils on it. Smiley Happy

I am interested in architecture, and I think that churches have the most interest and diverse architure. 🙂

Looking forward to seeing this one moonlight !

Done anymore joono?

I haven't been up to doing more on  the big one I'm painting...maybe spend a bit of time on it over the weekend.  I want it to hang on the wall behind the bed.....well, depending on how it turns out lol

At art on Tuesday my star artist brought in a sea scape he had done.....it's fabulous.  Wish his paintings could be posted on here.  Hmm, will talk to him and his lovely wife about joining in with us brave souls !

His wife has made me a cushion with a chicken painting and last week gave me a bag with a palette, paints brushes etc embroidered on it......I just know it's not gonna be paint free for long!  That woman is a speed queen....the amount of sewing she does and such lovely work, will have to encourage her to post pics of her work too.

Here is an update. I am aiming to finish this by Monday. I haven't done any outlining yet, so the entire drawing is very light, hence I had to darken it up to show the lines.

There are some stunning churches and buildings moonlight.  Plenty of choices !

I still have a way to go with the painting I'm doing but have a couple of pics.  One is the flower painting we were doing for the challenge ?

Anyone else have a go but haven't shown it yet?

I hope these pics post as I'm having problems atm....keeps saying the file size is too big, we'll see.

impressionist flowers, using the impasto paste to give the look of thick oils, but I used acrylics

The next one I used tinted charcoal pencils.  A friend gave me a pic of this.  I don't know who did the tree carving but it is amazing !
