Very interesting Donna. Am I surprised? No, not at all


 


I used to instinctively know when all was not well with my son. We shared a very special bond although I did not see him very much when he became an adult. But as a mother, I knew. It took some doing to give him the space to make his own mistakes in life and to trust he would eventually be able to handle his decisions, good and bad. And for me to butt out!!!


 


For me it has worked well....maybe those living cells have become less over the years, thank goodness


 


Perhaps the reason some mothers never cut the apron stings?
