Yes very funny and I'm getting 2 eggs a day more than we can eat. I'm finding that people are scared of "real eggs" as we can't give them away

Really? I could give dozens away. Perhaps over time it will improve? Right now I have about 6 dozen but because we forgot to collect some for a couple of days and they're now mixed with the others I don't want to give them away just in case.

Do you have a rooster? You could always get an incubator and turn them into babies 🙂

Yes I have a young rooster, not crowing yet, remember the coop too close to the house debacle :^O

Anyway won't be turning them into babies :_|

But we actually have 2 sussexs put away for us when they're older, I want 2 more but def. don't need the eggs.

I'm getting Aracauna's on the weekend .. they're the ones that lay blue eggs 🙂

Well we've had 2 sussex put away for us for ages when they get bigger, I really want them but we don't need the eggs and our coop is not big enough for 6

Unless my husband puts more laying shelves/perches B-)
