I have just put in a job application and shown my age.

Now even getting a reply, let alone getting an interview will be like winning lotto.

Oh, BTW I am 69.

Totally fed up with retirement, why anyone wants it is beyond me.

My sister in law has been applying for jobs and hasnt got anywhere with it, she is 63yrs.

Are you just bored with being at home, or is it the money aspect ?

Don't mean to sound nosey. If it's just boredom, volunteering locally

to do something that interests you might be the ticket.

Volunteering also requires a police check. Hope there's no skeletons

Volunteer once a month and have had every check known. Because I was involved in the real estate industry for past 30 years we had regular police checks going back that far, so a clean skin in that respect. The extra money would certainly help, but I really miss the cut and thrust of work. I love being challenged and am very competitive.
