I've worked out what business model Australia Post are following!

They figure that if "Search" and "I'm feeling lucky" worked for Larry Page and Google, that it might work for them too!

Lol, the official story is that Bing is a short, easily recognisable and memorable word associated with quick success / results IYKWIM, like BING! your microwaved popcorn is ready.

But a machine that goes BING! is a poor substitute for, and nowhere near as impressive as, a machine that goes PING!*

I went to school with Ping and worked with Bing.

My car has a Ding, maybe I am going to meet Denise Drysdale ?
