We used to say 'bags rule the line, bags have first pick and bags the beater with the button on it (cos it always had more on it).

Our dear housekeeper was so fair - we could not bags everything - had to bags in turn and if you ruled the line the other one ALWAYS got to have first pick lol

P.S. She always turned them off first too
