And understandibly there is cynicism amongst todays society, however lets not forget the reasons and efforts that went into the systems that were put in place.
Our ancestors wanted to improve life on earth for their offspring, fundamentally the only reason for existence, (amonst those whom attain the wisdom of leaders), hence my point.
There is a lot of unseen good that goes on, we tend to remember the negatives as they stand out and often we incorrectly interpret what is happening due to our past experiences.
If senators are able to reach such positions, they are obviously making decisions based on ethics, otherwise the system needs adjusting or I am somewhat naive.
Either way, be assured, the truth will prevail eventually.

You are right. Things do need to change and I think they will when my age group gets into those positions.
Sometimes it feels like shoveling ..... against the tide!
