To the posters who have passed negative comments about Tony Abbott with regard to firefighting.

Your comments reflect on any one who has had the decency to lend a hand and put themselves at risk to help others less fortunate

he's been paid so far for everything he did for the less fortunate. aboriginal missions, charity rides.. all  he did it for himself. it should come as no surprise that people are cynical of his motives

Whose comment was that?  Was that yours?  It contradicts what I have read which is basically the AFP offering advice of the kind of fire situations the PM should avoid and hoping that he takes that advice.
