As for "affordable" real estate, yeah, dirt cheap if you're on eastern state wages 😛

i remember when paul kelly released the song 'im never going back to adelaide' and i immediately understood. nobody ever went to see him play, too many better acts around in those days. the angels and cold chisel played to fairly empty hotel lounges as well.
everyone was at the Austral watching the screaming believers or someone else instead.![]()
