I decided to cut back the iris today...............and when I was picking up the mess I made I found a prickle off the rose bush I must have missed when I pruned in winter.

And I have tried to get the darn thing out but can't..............I have tried tweezers..............and a needle............and it is still there............I have had to leave it for new because it was hurting too much.

Not sure if that was from the prickle...............or the digging for the prickle.
