I am sure those people I see covered in sweat dragging themsleves up a hill to the local shops wouldn't knock back a mobility scooter.

I am stunned by this attitude, I know a lot of people who could afford a mobility scooter but choose not to have one, I live halfway up the hill to the shops and they are in their 80s and 90s and want to walk no matter the temperature.

My mother is well into her 80s and insists that by carrying heavy parcels and walking home form the shops she is doing the best thing for herself.

The walking is her activity and her heavy parcels are her strength builders.

She is a strong fit woman with fantastic bones for her age and the doctors say it is due to her to attitude to exercise.

It sounds like you pity people you see walking, well don't bother I find pity offensive and unnecessary when it comes to walking in hot weather.

So what if I am covered in sweat, you don't have to come anywhere near me and I do start the day with deordorant.
