Good evening all xx

Able to drop in for a few seconds while the platoon puts the kettle on for supper before they all leave to return South.

It's been a magnificent day, a houseful of people who managed to devour an enormous amount of cake and goodies that they brought with them .... 

Did you know that two whole meringues can be made into one massive meringue sandwich and then cut like a big layer cake?   I've never seen that before, but thank the universal mind for a good vacuum cleaner, because believe me, such things explode into great puffs of misted marshmallow and clouds of snowflake like crumbs:  It's amazing, and can it be that only Australians could invent such an amazing edible concoction?
