It seems that the a/c expertss agree with this cut and paste.  Interesting that a decrease increases the cost.

• 22-24C is the most efficient temperature range to run your air-conditioner at during Summer. Each 1C decrease can add as much as 10% to your cooling costs. -  They also advise to swich it on early before the temperature starts to rise.

We have a split system air conditioner and it is set at 24 deg. in summer.

In winter we have gas ducted heating set at about 20deg.

Don't mention grapes.I've just grafted over 12,000 of them in the Hunter:-( Peel me a mango instead:-)

what do the pool boys look like?

more importantly, what are they wearing?

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

I've just made a batch of mango sorbet (I was born in Rockhampton and was shattered to find, when I moved to Brisbane, that not everyone had a couple of trees growing mangoes the size of rockmelons in the backyard), and champagne sorbet - a scoopful of each in a bowl, enjoyed with a glass of champagne on a warm day, is most refresshing I find.
