for a couple of bucks you can delve further into macro photograph

That is an attachment that allows you lens to be reversed. you have to get the right one for your camera make and the front filter thread.
using that though you have to operate the camera in manual mode but the the results can be stunning and you dont have to give up an arm and a leg for a dedicated Macro lens 🙂

These are a very handy addition to macro photography with them you can get very precise focus control
