Sorry imastawwka, it was only a guess. FYI I sit a metre away from a 24" monitor & I could read War & Peace in that font & colour. And I complained about overbright web pages all the time before I changed monitors. Obviously different foks perceive different things on different screens differently.
Back on topic, I gave Bali away in 1992. I had a good run going many times up to then, on my last trip I decided that commercialisation had ruined what was a wonderful destination. It was a far cry from the paradise I found in 1976 & I felt very sad for the people & what they had lost.
Funny thing, I clearly remember sitting around Poppies one night (there & The Pub were about the only places worth going to) back in 76 talking with a group of ex-pats. One old vet who had been there since the 60's said he was moving on. He said he didn't want to stay now all the tourists had ruined the place. Ruined the place?? Blimey, Jalan Legian was the only road bitumised & it had wide open drains running down both sides & they were yet to put in a set of traffic lights. I think he would drop dead if he saw it today.
