We dont get the white pages now here in Vic.

Those stupid yellow pages, we get them but need a magnifying glass to read them.......they are as good as useless.

Story in paper this morning.  Yellow pages to be cancelled in Victoria too.

I miss the white pages.  I really do.

No point in having white pages on-line if your electricity goes off and

you need an electrician!!  And no, my technology does not extend to

a smart phone.

I dont care if they cancel the yellow pages as no one can read it,

I would prefer to have the white pages..........looking up online is a pain as well, and I agree with what you say if elect. goes off and it does here quite often, with trees coming down.

You don't need to be without the white pages imastawka, they are still available on request.

Which is better than paying a printer to print 100 000's of them, the cost of the paper, the cost of delivering them to every household whether they want one or not.

If people have portable landline  phones only and their electricity goes off, they can't use that either.

There are three simple ways you can choose to order a copy of the book:

- Call 1800 008 292,

- Register at www.directoryselect.com.au, or

- Collect a copy from your local Australia Post outlet.

There is also no change to the way that the White Pages® Business and Government Book is distributed.

Our little post office doesnt keep copies of the white pages, even the one they have to look up #'s is years old.

They havent printed any in Vic for a few yrs.

You are lucky you can update...

is kinda ok, but I'd still like a residential one.  Guess this old dinosaur is gunna

have to get with the times.

You'd have to be pretty keen to go out in this heat, purps.  I'm expending all

my energy just typing.   Hahahaha
