No. Haven't heard from him and I doubt his mother has either,, seeing she's still talking to me!! lol......I just felt he should be notified, and he has been....can't do more than that.

I don't really talk to my neighbours much... on one side I have their mobile to let them know if anything bad happens or I need to contact them as they live in two locations, one is inland.
the other I keep an eye on... if I don't see him for a few days I pop in to make sure he is ok. During the tornados and loss of power for five days I cooked him meals and got him ice.
No way would I get as involved as Gill as that would do my head in... I have enough responsibilites.
