Joono, is this the asparagus tart we discussed last year?.  Wasn't there a discussion about whether to leave this asparagus to be added for the last few minutes of cooking? Are you going to do that this time?

You are right Prim - there was a discussion ..... to stop the asparagus drying out and sinking into the custard if I recall correctly.

.

No, I'll just follow the recipe as written Prim.  I don't mind it like that.  I think you like it still crunchy but I think if you put it on too late it wouldn't sink in a bit and would roll off.

The mushroom quiche sounds yum but as I am the only one in my household that really likes mushrooms it's not one I would normally cook for them.

Joono

Well - either way sound yummy anyway j*oono and I do like the idea of a mushroom quiche.

Did you like mushrooms as a child? I didn't but love them now!

Funny how our tastes change and mature.

.

I think I have always liked them Laney.  Some things I never used to like and now I love them, such as coriander.  I could eat handfuls of that.

Also the first time I ate an olive and wondered why anyone would eat them and now they are a favourite.

Joono

Doesn't just the smell of coriander make you salivate?

It does me .... I think it is one of my very favourites.  Pity it is so difficult to grow well Smiley Sad

.

It grows here but it bolts too quickly.  It's always available in the shops so I just buy it now.

Joono

Likewise here - it bolts like a Melbourne Cup winner lol

Anyway - this is not getting the things done I need to do.  Will catch up with you later Prim and j*oono and anyone else lurking lol

Happy cooking!

.

Yes, I had better get on to it too.

Later gaters.

Joono
