Poddy, I've been with Optus Cable since 2005 and in that time, I've noticed my line speed gradually reducing until it is now averaging below 20Mbps locally, and an appalling 3Mbps with connections to Tokyo & San Francisco, and I'm not impressed.

Worse still, I'm thoroughly **bleep** off that my upload speeds are restricted to less than 0.5Mbps on all servers, and can't understand the need to reduce uploads to such a slow speed. Also annoyingly, I get around 20% higher speeds when using the Telstra server for my testing instead of the Optus servers. It's just not good enough.

FWIW, these are my latest tests done just a few minutes ago.
