I think it is up to the parents as to what they want to do. Anyone can say I would do this or that, but you dont know what you would do unless you are in the situation yourself.
My daughter had a little girl that was still born, she got so much help from the hospital, they were wonderful to her.
Then she got pregnant again, and the drs. wanted her to have the test for Downs Syndrome and she refused to have it, she told them that the baby was hers, not theirs, and she would love the child no matter what was wrong with it.........unless you are in the situation you really dont know what you would do.

My sister was the same purple. She was offered testing during her subsequent pregnancies but refused. She felt it somehow diminished A's short life.

They do seem like a capable well organized couple although it did make me wonder when she said if they need extra money they'll go back to work, after talking about her crippling arthritis.
