Did these things happen when she was unwell Chuk ? Not that that is an excuse ...Mentally unwell and unhappy people can and do sometimes do things they wouldn't otherwise do and aren't always kind to other people ? 

I think anyone who advocates for a cause does it for others...in raising awareness and encouraging others to talk about Mental Illness and raise awareness they are doing it for everybody ....and very importantly doing it to try to save lives not yet lost.
