are you absolutely, positive he is dead? did you attend the funeral to make sure?

Well a funeral notice went in the paper and that needs a death certificate and a lot of people went to the church so I'm guessing he is. But his wife is a right cow so he may have faked it just to annoy her. Certainly wasted the ambulance operators time if he is a phony!
