Because either the judicial system is way out of touch with societies needs, or the bleeding hearts are louder. Or both.

As a child killer he will be in a nice section with fellow child killers.

there will be someone wanting to make a name for themselves take him out - high profile killers attract them

true pepe !

sooner rather then later wouldn't hurt !

I just hope and pray the Morcombe family and their supporters took some power back after today's ruling.

Smiley Sad I have been reading about the appeals process, apparently it is all set to go.

It's taken such a very long time and it won't bring their boy back but it must be a relief for the Morcombes to finally know for sure what happened to their son and that the monster is finally off the streets where he can no longer hurt children.  He has an awful past history that wasn't able to be discussed during the trial

I don't think it's a relief to finally know what happened to their son. Reading Mr Morecombe's VIctim Statement poses a lot more questions than answers. I think there is a lot more that this grub did than what he's been convicted for. He should have been locked up a long time ago for a long time given his history.
