baby is great in stir fry, Mr Boris won't eat the big stuff, no matter how much I wash it he says it tastes like dirt. Woman LOL

Silver beet does have the white stalks (and other colours - red, yellow) Poms like

to call it Chard or Swiss Chard.

 

Totally different taste to Spinach,  I reckon

If you want to make a healthy food into unhealthy food, trim the stalks

and batter them and then deep fry 'em!   I'm told they're yummy.

But I won't eat them.

Olive Oil is Popeye's girlfriend. 🙂

Ewwww!!  Mind you, I used to fill celery stalks with peanut butter

for my kid and grand-kids.  They loved that

I use shredded silverbeet leaves in stirfries.
