What does diss mean?

Does it mean toss them overboard?

What do you do if they live in Kirribilli?

Weird Thread

It is a historical term that refers to  tribal verbal/written  retaliation  taken against those who perpetrate any form of malfeasance, actual or perceived,  against a defenceless wall. Over  time the retaliation  becomes tribal lore in the telling, and is reinforced with constant repeats, very much like orality.

Nothing common about Diss - it's where I grew up; and a very superior little town indeed.Smiley Very Happy

Diss looks very beautiful and picturesque.  A lovely place indeed

Thaanks, Stalker. I have very happy memories of the place. We didn't actually live in the town itself, but it was our nearest shopping centre and a couple of my younger siblings went to school there. We moved to East Anglia when I was 8 and lived first in Eye, then Redgrave, then Wortham.
