Peter (masquerading as Brad) can't find his peckled thingos.  How did he come to lose them anyway? Did the Pumpkin Eater have anything to do with it? Or was he also (too) masquerading as Brad?.... Was Brad having an affair with Mrs. Pumpkin Eater?

I think the talk and speak are interchangeable. In this sentence with the word to being used so many times, I would use with just to mix it up.
And back there somewhere - reckon the comma is misplaced in between the two to's.

Brad/Peter should not speak/talk to anyone, he should, however, speak/talk with someone.

 

BTW will you please c&p Brad/Peter's reply to your email? And while we are at it, please c&p all other correspondence dealing with this matter invovling Brad/Peter.

I think Peter needs to talk to a psychologist, and possibly a lawyer. Depriving your wife of her civil liberties by locking her in a pumpkin shell is an offense. He might like to discuss his marital problems with the psychologist as I suspect the odd relationship he has with Brad could be a contributing factor to his marriage breakdown.

On the other hand Brad may be an innocent bystander and the real reason Peters wife is leaving him is she found out what he really does with the pumpkin pies she bakes.
