cats and soap

Today i noticed one of the cats eats soap. not content with soap he eats toothpaste as well..   i haven't had a cat do this before , is it unusual ?

would be interesting when he passes wind through that "ring of confidence"

Some people can go their whole lives and never really live for a single minute.

Borises Dr (vet), who is brilliant , told me that toothpaste is poisonous for dogs, don't know about cats though.

A cat that eats soap would have very clean insides and leave no stains if and when it did as Crikey suggested.

Were you thinking soap bubbles?

A cat of my earlier acquaintance ate smoked salmon for preference, it would have been appreciated if she had then taken a liking to toothpaste.

But

Probably best to wean a cat off the soap and toothpaste.
