I used to use a stick mixer and prior to that a blender but it's messy. The soupmaker is so easy to clean!

That's good too Joono, the stick blender is fabulous and quick.  Really easy to clean, I just run it under hot water.  I've found the blender fast and easy to clean too, just one or two drops of washing up detergent and some warm water, put it back on the machine for a few seconds, then rinse it out and it has cleaned itself.  I think the soupmaker will do the same thing as it is essentially a blender too and can be cleaned the same way ... our friend will be delighted ...

Yes of course!  It's not the same in a cup.

I've got a couple of those Am.  I had a set of four but two have gone missing.  I saw some in Coles or Woolies the other day so I might get some more.

I have some good size ramekins, with lids. They hold about 500ml. Very elegant!

When I am alone, I use a massive noodle bowl 🙂
